Download Ledger LiveLedger Live is the official companion application that allows you to manage cryptocurrencies, install blockchain apps, send and receive assets, and monitor your portfolio securely. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
Connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer using the USB cable provided. If you are using a Ledger Nano X, you may also connect via Bluetooth to your mobile device.
Choose a strong PIN code directly on your Ledger device. This PIN protects access to your wallet in case someone gains physical access to your device.
Your Ledger device will generate a unique 24-word recovery phrase. This phrase is the only backup of your crypto wallet.
Ledger hardware wallets store private keys offline inside a certified Secure Element chip. Transactions must be physically confirmed on the device, protecting you from malware and phishing attacks.
